Dwight, Josh & Maggie:
"Let not your heart be troubled, Neither let it be afraid"
These are words of assurance that the Lord has said.
Let Him be your comfort, Let Him be your friend,
Let Him walk beside you, From beginning to the end.
May you all find comfort knowing that she's in a better place, resting the arms of the Lord. May her soul rest in peace.

Rest in Peace Ma Bertha. I remember hearing the cries of newborn babies up Mamba Point on the Rocks. She brought so many babies out for their first cries. We miss her already. On behalf of the Harding family, we say take courage because she is in good hands.

I recall many of my care-free elementary and Jr. High schools days and nights at the Johnson home. Whether it is was just chatting with Dwight, or trying to be as cool as Joshua, I recall Ma Bertha being present and pleasant always. In fact this home became one of my favorite hang-outs because of her smile, jokes, encouragements, and admonishments.
As a man visiting Joshua while she was here in Rhode Island, I remember that even while bedridden, her eyes twinkled with love, and she always shared her beautiful smile.
Ma Bertha's water has quenched many. There is no doubt in my mind that she will rest in peace.
She have gone ahead to a better place--our loss.

I remember the times I went to "Joshua Johnson house" during high school days and she was so caring as a mother. "Joshua Johnson," I KNOW how much you loved your mother and how she loved you all. May she be seen in your interactions with your "neighbor" on a daily basis.
